Supporting Your Health Beyond the Treatment Room - What you may experience​

Remedial massage works deeply on muscles, fascia, and connective tissues to relieve pain, improve mobility, and support recovery. Common responses include:

Muscle Soreness

Similar to post-workout soreness, mild tenderness can occur as tight muscles release tension. This typically lasts 24–48 hours.

Increased Mobility & Flexibility 

You may notice improved movement and reduced stiffness after treatment.



Fatigue or Lightheadedness

How to Support Your Body After Your Massage

Stay Hydrated 

Drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins and support recovery.

Move Gently 

Light stretching or a short walk can encourage circulation & prevent stiffness.



Rest & Relax 

Allow your body time to absorb the benefits of the treatment. Avoid intense exercise for 24 hours if deep tissue work was done.

Avoid Alcohol & Caffeine 

These can dehydrate the body and slow the detoxification process.



Apply Heat or Ice if Needed

A warm bath or heat pack can help ease soreness, while ice can help with any minor inflammation.
